Party of One is the debut solo record from Jeremy Porter. As a founding member and front man for seminal Detroit bands Fidrych (2008-Present), The Offramps (2000-2008) and SlugBug (1992-2000), Jeremy has garnered a reputation as a skilled songsmith and guitarist by playing, recording and touring since the age of 16. The tracks on Party of One range from the full-band-power-pop that people have come to expect from Jeremy to quieter, darker and acoustic songs. Available January 2010 on CD and in iTunes!

August 15, 2012 We've been doing nothing this summer except recording our new record. It's gonna be great! We're hoping for a late fall release. We did manage to get a couple shows booked, so if you're in the Detroit area make sure to check us out in Detroit and Hamtramck in August and September. Oct 30, 2011 Happy Anniversary to THE TUCOS! We've been together for a year now. 35+ shows in more than a couple dozen different cities across 5 states, a 7" single and some Canadian shows right around the corner. Huge thanks to anyone who came to see us or bought the record. It's been a great year and next year will be even better! XOXO - JP&T
Mar 2, 2011 March is here and that means one thing: The HAMTRAMCK BLOWOUT! I love the Blowout and can't wait to play it again this year with the new band. We're gearing up for a weekend at the Upfront & Company in Marquette in April and a new 7" on Magwheel Records shortly after that. Exciting times!

Last night was the first show with the new band - Jeremy Porter & The Tucos! We had a great time up at Gusoline Alley and are very grateful to the souls who braved the snow to make it out on a Sunday night! We've got some exciting
stuff coming up in January including a support slot for Jesse Malin & The St. Mark's Social at Small's. His record has been in heavy rotation on my turntable for some time and I couldn't
be more excited to being playing that night - and seeing their set!
This Friday I'm playing the annual Home For The Holidaze benefit show at the Corktown Tavern. It's gonna be a fun night for a great cause so come on out!!!

It was quite a Spring and Summer, playing over 20 dates across the country. It was the longest tour I've ever done and it went really well. Big thanks to everyone who helped out or came
out to the shows! I met some great people and saw lots of friends I haven't seen in ages. Back in Detroit I was honored to open for The Orbitsuns on back-to-back Saturdays and had a great time
at both shows. Those guys are amazing - go see `em!
Next weekend I am stoked for the first Fidrych show since the Blowout! We're playing at Small's in Hamtramck - one of my favorite
rooms in town. Opening the show is Hardeaux & Jeff's new band Sedna and closing are The Prime Ministers, so it's gonna be a good`un. After that it's a warm-up show for my first ever mini-tour of Canada at the Plymouth Coffee Bean on September 3rd, then off to the Great White North for 3 shows. Try to make it to
the Fidrych gig or the Coffee Bean show - they might be the last ones for a bit!
Apr 14, 2010 Check out the new video for Fountains HERE. The tune was originally done by The Nils and was the bonus track on The OffRamps - Split The Difference record, but I stripped it down and have been playing it out on the road. This was recorded and mostly shot in Pittsburgh with some footage from Boston and St Louis too. Check out The Nils. You won't be sorry.

by playing on it, recording it, helping with the art and photography, and everything else that went into it. Also - thanks to everybody who came out to the record release
show in Plymouth on Friday. The turnout was great and we had a great time.
I'll be supporting the record with some East Coast shows in April that are being finalized
as we speak, and plenty of Midwest and South dates soon. Manwhile - Fidrych has a show in Ypsi in a couple weeks and a return to the Hamtramck Blowout in March, See you then!
